Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is an British Canadian actor from Canada. She is most well-known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards as well as 4 Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the best supporting actor. The character was reprised for Sex and the City 2 Sex and the City films (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2009). Also known for the films Porky's and the Porky's of 1980 and her appearances on Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin. Kim Cattrall is most often associated with her popular HBO show, Sex & the City, in which she portrayed Samantha Jones. The well-known actress' portrayal of the character of Samantha Jones has been a defining moment in her professional career. She is mostly known for her performance in the comedy drama film La Dolce Vita.
